This is my first post and I think it is a good one. I love this song. Props to the Rick Emerson Show for pushing it. When the custody battle went against Britney Spears, Rick and many of his listeners agreed that this could be very well end for Britney, in a living sense.
“I noted that we shouldn’t wait for her to actually die—that we should crank out a “Candle in the Wind”-style death song right now. Moments later, the fine young lads in Portland’s own Nickel Arcade called up and offered to write and record such a song for us.”
