Look in the bottom right of the image.  That bright red “V” is what ABC thinks is good marketing; free marketing.  Oh but it cost them a lot in the end as many LOST fans swore never to watch “V”.

Let me ask a question.  Why does ABC and most other broadcasting companies put their logo as a grey semi-transparent watermark? Because you don’t really notice it.  So why do they put a RED F#@%ING V ON THE SCREEN?  Because they know LOST fants are a captive audience.  My apologies to the people who make a living creating “V” but I am not watching it.

It’s ridiculous.  I know I am watching ABC; anyone watching LOST know they are watching ABC but that have to have a RED F#@%ING “V”, a countdown, and the ABC logo.  They couldn’t even remove the ABC logo.

They won’t show the “V” during commercials but we are are subjected to it.  Without us there are no advertisers.

Hey ABC, let’s think this through.  You want viewers to tune into your show. LOST fans can easily be expected to give it a shot. You want to have a successful relaunch so how do you get LOST fans to show up at 10:00?  How do you gain good will?

You run the countless ads you have been running for a week.  You don’t piss us off.  How do you test a new idea like putting a F#@%ING ”V” on my screen? You listen to Twitter in the first 10 minutes and pull the plug when everyone is bitching about your stupid experiment that some idiot told you to try that doesn’t even watch TV.  No one who is a fan of TV or LOST, much less a thoughtful business person, would tell you to put A F#@%ING RED “V” on the bottom of my screen.

Disconnect.

Chetania was upset that there was a new dancer and felt that they didn’t need any new dancers. I don’t think they need a new 52 year-old dancer but what was Chetania worried about? Do you think Morton’s Steakhouse is really concerned when a Sizzler opens up nearby? Noooo.   Nor do they go and repeatedly stab the manager of the new McDonald’s nearby.

He spends $5700 a year on subscription and, at least in the article, doesn’t refer to a friend.   There should be at least one statement of a friend who has 12 characters.  I get the feeling that this guy is just alone all of the time and it will consume him.

DNA is going to be the great equalizer for many years to come. TMZ is reporting that Joe Son known as Random Task from Austin Powers movie has been busted from an event in 1990.

As part of a plea agreement from a recent crime he had to give up some DNA and oops, he is linked to a 18 year old crime.  DNA has freed many people and convicted many.  

My belief in the three strikes law is that people don’t often commit crimes just once.  So if you get busted three times you have most likely done much much more.  Grabbing his DNA paid off well apparently.

UPDATE: Cagepotato is reports that Son was a UFC fighter and shows him getting his nuts punched over and over in a UFC match that I remember vividly/horribly as I squirmed in my seat.  How can you do that to another man and not expect for every other person to do it to you when you fight them?    

But in retrospect, I guess Son deserved it and will have more encounters like this while he is in jail for 275 years.

I once argued that no one has ever come across the bones of a Bigfoot but a hunter mentioned that millions of animals die every year in the woods and there aren’t bones scattered everywhere.

This is a long way to go for a prank but here is a site refuting the whole thing with their explanation. If this is a publicity stunt for attention, two guys need to hold him while a third kicks him in the balls.

I think this one backfires. I don’t want to think of feet at the same time I think of Skittles nor do I want to think of an the douche acting all creepy…
