I guess Phil Jackson has been harping on Bynum long enough. First he took out Oden at the start of the season. Watch as he pulls Oden.

Now he has taken out Gerald Wallace. See the play that resulted in a broken rib and a punctured lung.

Many are saying that he didn’t want to hurt Wallace but you watch the play and see if he was going for the basketball. I am sure he didn’t intend to puncture his lung but drunk drivers don’t intend to hit people either but it was their choice.

Bynum just recently gathered his game from the gutter and has been putting up impressive numbers. I hope he gets fined. Those are hard lazy fouls which is what Phil Jackson has been calling him, lazy.

The Blazers looked unstoppable as they crushed the Chicago Bulls who were on a back-to-back and playing like it was the fourth game in a row.  Abysmal shooting and horrendous turnovers.  Noah over and over made the silliest fouls and then whined about it.  If you whine everytime you just annoy the refs more.  Pick and choose your battles though honestly you look to be a bust in the NBA.

My own fantasy team was decimated as Tim Duncan had an off night and a few others just didn’t play up to their level.  Was it too much to ask that Lebron score 41 again?

Is it too much for Kidd to score at least 10 pts, at least?  SportsCenter teased with Kidd hitting a 3pt. That is all that they could pull out for a highlight.

No one else jumped out on my radar even though injuries are running rampant and there should be some breakouts. So far the sleepers people talk about aren’t hitting it.  Still wondering if Anthony Morrow can keep it up.  Part of his success is that no one knows who he is.  That is no longer the case and if he still can shoot lights out he will be the next Ray Allen, who doesn’t do much more than score.

Tomorrow is a light day and I only have Nash playing.  I need like 60 pts and 22 assists to get back to being comfortable again, and we know that won’t happen.

UFC 98 brought out the fighter many wondered if Machida could be – fast, dominating, and destructive.  I still haven’t heard any post-fight comments from Rashad.  He must be licking his physical and mental wounds, and wondering what the hell happened.

This superfight between Lyoto and Anderson, as an idea, is much better than the actual match would be most likely.  Much like a dog chasing a car or teenager’s sex fantasy, you will be let down.  But Machida and Anderson are each going to be consistently argued as the Pound-For-Pound best fighters which, just like Highlander, there can be only one.  

Anderson is bored at 185 and he destroyed James Irvin at 205 by doing something you only see in the movies – grabbing your opponent’s leg when they kick and knocking them out with one punch!  If Anderson can make mince meat out of Forrest, and as much as I love watching the guy fight, I think Silva will. then I think you do the Superfight in February.

Forrest vs Silva in August, Lyoto vs Rampage soon thereafter, and if everything goes well, then Lyoto vs Silva.  This takes care of Silva’s published boredom, gives Lyoto a fantastic challenge, and the viewers a can’t miss Pay-Per-View.  Come on UFC, give this to us!

I don’t do drugs and even I think that marijuana should be legalized. Seth’s monolgue puts it into perspective. Even the Chosen One, Obama, admitted to cocaine use which is much worse.

Kellogs missed an opportunity that Subway took full advantage of this weekend. Instead of looking like the holier-than-thou Aunt like Kelloggs now, Subway looks likes like the cool uncle who tries to embellish your fishing abilities in front of your friends.

Kellogs comes out the loser in this one.

Ah legal crap. This all seems like a waste of time ultimately. This may have made for a bigger fight than if Randy had stayed in though.

Would he still be at the top? Would Lesnar be getting this shot so soon? Probably no in both cases just because of life.

So why is he all huggy-huggy with Dana? I really don’t get that unless this was all to have Randy sit on the sidelines until they could get Fedor. But that seems to have only emboldened the other companies.

Okay okay, here we go. Conspiracy Time! The UFC wanted to get Fedor but it didn’t seem to work. Randy “retired” that gave him time to do a couple of movies and rest up. There were no real competitive match ups in the heavy weight division. Look, even now it is Lesnar.

So now Brock is a big draw unlike anyone else in the heavy weight division. And the other companies have lost the chance at Randy and as well other fighters see that the other companies can’t pay as well. Affliction has already admitted as much. Randy gets a break, another heavyweight comes up and other companies lose all hope. Win-win for huggy-huggy best friends Randy and Dana.

I will echo what my friend said, “I would love to see Tito get pummeled by Brock.” Give Tito $2 million to have his head bashed in the fight of “The Most Hated MMA Fighter” vs “The Soon To Be Most Hated Fighter In MMA.”

UPDATE: Commissioner Stern must have stepped up and knocked down the video. Essentially a random guy made Lebron do a sick ass trick shot also Lebron missed a layup and a shot of the back board then shooting it back it halfway between the free throw line and the hoop. Even more damaging is that he was driving the RampageTruck™ with his picture and Toyo Tires emblazoned on the side.  Not the best car to run in.  I figure with that logic there is a 32.333% (repeating of course) chance that alcohol was involved.

Cops gave chase and eventually caught up and charged him with felony hit and run and felony evading arrest.

First Forrest beats him, now this.  Why would you run from the cops?  Time will tell what really happened as it burns through the internet.  Have fun with this one Dana.
